3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bronze-amber color with a large orange-tan head. The aroma was a lovely and complex mix of strong sweet fruit, pine, grapefruit and pepper. The flavor was bitter, tangy and tart with a strong fruity and piney hop presence and nutty malts underneath. The finish was long, tangy and fruity. The mouthfeel was moderately thick. Solid.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to jake65. Lightly hazy orange with a finger of white foam. Great biscuit and caramel aroma with grapefruit citrus hops. Body is a bit more boring, a watery caramel, biscuit with a disembodied spicy hop bitterness.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
First rating in quite a while. 12oz bottle via trade with jake65. Thanks Jake! Pours a slightly translucent orange amber with a thin, creamy, lacing white head. Nose is nice and mild, biscuits and crackers with lemons and grapefruits too. Flavor is a bit of a let down, slightly sweet, not as much of the malt coming through and only slightly bitter. Finish is watery but clean. Not bad, could have used something else in the flavor profile though.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled 10/23/2008. This pale ale pours a orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel malts and citrusy. A medium bodied pale ale. The malts are caramel and fruity. The hops are grapefruity and floral. There is some fruitiness that I wasn’t expecting. It kind of sweet and tastes like some berry of some kind, possibly huckleberry? Kind of weird, but does not detract too much from the beer overall. Lively carbonation. Decent balance. The mouthfeel is full and round. The finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle... Poured a hazy amber/orange with a creamy off-white head. I think a little of their huckleberry cream ale batch had gotten into this bottle because there was definitely some of those berry flavors in this. Other lemon, citrus notes and dry hops. I don’t know if I’m going crazy but oh well.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with jake65 (thanks!). Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of stronger floral, citrus, and toasted grains. Tastes of citrus, floral, and caramel.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a 12 oz bottle from Paul’s Grocery in McCall Idaho that cost 8.46 a six pack this poured a rich and clear copper color with fat off-white head and good lacing. Nose of caramel malts and citrus hops. Lively but pleasant mouthfeel leading to flavors of malts and hops in good balance. Slight bitterness in the dry sinish. Very easy to drink.

12oz Bottle - 99 Bottles - Federal Way, WA
Aroma – Decent malt and light hops aroma.
Appearance – Light amber in color with a light head and clear as a bell.
Flavor – Nice easy to drink pale ale. Has more flavor than 10 BMC beers this was very well done.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, great texture with a good dry finish.
Overall – The perfect Pale ale. Flavor, aroma and most of all drinkability after a hot day.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copper-amber with good off-white head. Good amount of lacing. Citrus floral aroma. Very sweet with plenty of citrus hop bitterness. Almost a wine-like character. No abv listed so I might guess at least a 6.5%. A bit of vegetal tone almost a slight fermented cabbage flavor. A well balanced APA overall. Just can’t get past that strange undertone.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours copper with a rocky white head. Another diacetyl bomb with some lemony hints on the nose. Tastes of sweet malt with some hints of citrus, but diacetyl overwhelms this one. Seems to be a pattern here.
