Heavy caramel aroma with a lemony-marmelade hoppiness; pours with a deep amber, well carbonated body under a quickly dissipating, millimeter thick head; sweet, toasty and biscuity carmelized maltiness followed by a mild, quick, inadequate bitterness that’s a little piney and lemony; very light chocolate notes; a touch of earthiness; the bitterness builds in the tail end. Not so bad.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2008 Bottle: Nice amber/copper color with an off white head and good lacing. Aroma is mostly citrus hops with some sweetness present. Taste is classic APA with nice amounts of sweet hops to balance the hops. Nice amount of bitters and sweet in the finish.
<P>Rerate, draft: More fruitiness and citrus hops present in both aroma and taste. Malty sweetness and caramel contribute to a very drinkable and alluring ale.

Pours a light goldsen redcolor, nice hop nose clean and light, good clean crisp flavor lasts throughout, nice creamy offwhite head that lasted to the bottom with decent lacing.my brother an I are big fans of this brewery as it is close to Spokane and produces good drinkable beers

Bottle: Clear gold color with a sweet brown sugary Elmer’s glue aroma. The taste has a great balance of hops and malts, giving the hops the upper hand just a bit - like a good pale ale. The flavor is also tangy followed by a pleasant aftertaste. I think it is a well made pale ale.

Pours a light copper color, nice spicy hop nose not big like an IPA but clean and light, good clean crisp flavor lasts throughout, nice creamy offwhite head that lasted to the bottom with decent lacing. I am a fan of this brewery as it is close to Spokane and produces good drinkable beers

Draft at the Barking Dog. Big sudsy head, nice cloudy amber pour. Clean crisp hop nose, tingly bitter attack and crisply hoppy all the way through the finish. Completely satisfying--great summer beer. 92F today, and that’s hot for here...if this beer’s watery, bring it on. Perfect hot weather session beer.

Bottle: Amber, burnt orange tinge, huge rocky off-white head, sticky lacing, little carbonation. Floral nose, slightly sticky, a bit of caramel accentuated hops. Light on flavor, slightly biting up front, but dies quickly. Somewhat sweet, but thin. Slight hop bitterness resonates through to the end, but its very soft. Decent pale, but a bit on the lighter side in regards to body. Fairly clean tho.

Bottle: Pours a pellucid copper amber color with a large retentive white puffy head, very nice looking. The aroma is lightly vegetal with a sweet floral hop nose along with a rich caramel undertone along with the other rich malts. The flavor is lightly bitter with a rich smooth body, lightly sweet and caramelly. Very focused in on the malts with a light balanced bitterness and hop flavor. Finish is smooth and creamy, very tasty pale ale I must say.
