COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The first in our Purebred series of single hop A.P.A.s showcases the hop variety Citra. These are used for everything from bittering and flavor to aroma. The soft bitterness of the Citra hop makes this an extremely drinkable beer.

Shoulda bought this a while ago. Light apricot gold with a large off white fluffy lid and slippery, foamy lacing. Just like the label says: grapefruit, peach and citrus as well as orange, slight dough. Tasty and not crazy in my face. Soothing malt with just the right amount of fruity bitterness. Watery sizzle grapefruit, citrus, peach and salivation. Another quality laughing dog brew.

Very nice apa. A amber copper color. A very enjoyable brew with the citra hop flavours really shinning through

Bottle. Clear amber color with ivory sheen. Big skanky, skunky, wet grass, cat piss aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice spicy, earthy, dank hop flavors with a dusty pale malt base__ nicely bitter throughout___super tasty pale ale

Very bubbly light head Beautiful floral piney aroma. Quite light in colour, awesome floral and citrus taste with some nice metallics to round it out. Very awesome

Bottle to tulip This starts off spicy with all the trademarks of citra; tropical fruits and lychee with a little grapefruit. A clear amber with a tinge if red, thin white bubbly head. The taste is a little peppery, with tropical fruit, and grapefruit; no surprises there. It has a pleasant taste but I feel it's lacking something. Perhaps it's a bit thin as well.

22oz bottle pours a hazy pale yellow/orange with a lasting off-white head. Big hoppy aroma. Floral and a bit papery. Bitter with a lot of fresh hoppiness.

Bottle, shared with my father in law. Hazy orange-tinted gold. Lemony pine aroma, slightly soapy. Bright hoppy palate, pleasant bitter finish, crackery cereal malts. Nice.

Pours a clear amber with a large dull white head that leaves decent lace and lasts quite some time. Aroma is pine, tropical fruits, and some floral notes. Flavour is resin, pine, citrus, decent malty backbone, medium bitterness that lingers a little, and a malty sweetness in the mix. Pretty tasty brew.

Bottle:   Orangish straw, hazy, huge pillowy off-white head, nice lacing.   Candyish citrus peel and pith on the nose.   Pale citrusy notes on the tongue, light sweetness, not all that hoppy.   Has a strong powdery sugar sweetness to it.   Light to moderate body and mouthfeel.   Finishes like a very airy and sweet pale Pale Ale.   Not all that bitter or hoppy.   Those aspects seem a bit sweeter, in a candyish sense, while not being malty.   Lingering powdery sugar sweetness, with very little hop presense.   Meh... too sweet, powdery, and not enough hops.   Not that often I complain of a Pale Ale being too pale, but this is one of those times.   Still somewhat enjoyable.

Nice beer overall. A floral and very citric Ipa with a ton of lemony and grapefruit notes. Sweet caramel malts with light green hop notes and tons of grapefruit. The finish is bitter but reserved a bit with nice lingering hop resin and bitter notes.
