3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 vyvvy (2920) - Florissant, USA - SEP 4, 2010
Pours clear amber with a large pillowy white head. The aroma is dry with lightly toasted malt, mustiness to the malt, some rye and lightly spice floral hops. Medium crisp body that has a tingly effervescent carbonation. The flavor begins with a nutty / toasted malt with rye spiciness, some cardboardy oxidation and spicy hops. The finish is piny and spicy along with a lot of oxidation. This is okay, but seems like it is pretty old. This was purchased and consumed within a couple days of coming into the area. Somebody in the chain Laughing Dog beers have to go through to get to the shelves in MO doesn’t give a crap how old these beers are. It’s frustrating that these seem like they were good beer & arrive old here on a constant basis.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 nick76 (3598) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUN 3, 2012
The aroma is hoppy with pine, soap, and grassy. There is malts and meaty yeast. The appearance is golden with a huge head. The taste is like the aroma and very bitter. The palate is smooth. Overall this is not a favorite of mine.

This beer is strong yet it is too uninventful in terms of of malts and hops. its very dry which can be a good thing depending on what it s your drinking with. still it lacks many refinement.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 hoosiers1994 (670) - Maryland, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Draught pours a light amber with a whitish head. Aromas are citrus and some bitter pine. Tastes are citrus like grapefruit and orange with bitter rye on the finish. Body is medium with a long bitter finish. Overall a very well done ale by a great brewery.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 RoyceH (1153) - Hesperange, LUXEMBOURG - MAY 23, 2012
Tap at Rattle & Hum. Hazy dark blonde, laces excellently. Nose is biscuity IPA, touch of tangerine, wheat. Mouth is soft, light, lemon, bitter, some herbal oily hoppiness right at the end. Lasts bitter and hoppy. Pretty simple interpretation, but very nice nonetheless.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Bosco (127) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - MAY 8, 2012
Pours hazy yellow with thunderhead clouds of foam many times the volume of the liquid. Head erodes away slowly leaving deep canyons and persistent lacing.
Well distributed endless stream of bubbles. Evenly bitter front and back.
Paired great with sweet radish, sharp white cheddar with black pepper and wheat-flax chips.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ughsmash (5836) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 1, 2012
Bomber. Poured clear, bright golden with a sticky off-white head. The aroma picked up fresh orange zest and lesser pine resin, with nice accents from peppery rye.. soft, biscuity support. The flavor found pale and light crusty bread maltage at the core, with a wash of orange zest throughout.. spicy with rye on the edges.. rye and orange bitterness stuck on the long finish. Medium-bodied and unfortunately slick on the palate.. not a bad feel, but it needed more life to it.

Pours a cloudy orange with a frothy medium off white head that leaves good sticky lacing along the glass. Floral hops and grapefruit on the nose. Medium mouthfeel with a strong hop bite upfront and nice lingering bitter finish. Easy to drink, really enjoyed this IPA
3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 MadRobin (177) - Silver Spring, USA - APR 18, 2012
A gentle pour from the 22 oz bottle yielded a glass full of cream-colored, billowing, whipped-cream-like foam that persisted for a decade or two and eventually left thick whipped-cream lacing on the sides of the glass.
After about 20 minutes, I was able to get enough beer in the glass for a couple of inches of hazy, light straw colored, sparkling beer to settle in the bottom of the glass. Once the head settles enough, this is a quite beautiful beer.
Maybe its due to those billows of foamy head, but the aroma is easily enjoyed from 10 feet away. It's even better with your nose in the glass. The nose begins with a sweet mango aroma. Caramel malt and floral and citrus hops aromas next break through followed by the aroma of fresh-baked rye bread. The rye is not very spicy. It's more like a sweet rye desert bread aroma.
The taste is balance of lightly sweet and lightly bitter, but alas is not nearly as interesting as the aroma. I pick up flavors of pine, oranges, grass, flowers with a dry, rye-bready taste at the finish. There is a slight, but unwelcome, tartness in the aftertaste.
Medium body with high carbonation that yields a velvety, foamy mouthfeel.
An otherwise wonderful beer that is spoiled by drinking.
