3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Deep copper color, head fades off quickly, slight lacing. Nicely done, boozy, double-boozy, strong, and wild. Lots of different ingredients, pretty fun beer!

As of late I can not find the time to take tasting notes of each beer I sample. I would like to track and record my thoughts of each so I will just use the simple scoring rubric until more time is available.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2011 backlog. 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy burnt orange with a half finger white head that left nice lacing. The nose is caramel, light citrus and faint pine. The taste is toffee, earthy hops, ripe citrus and a nice resin finish that lingers. Medium mouth feel. Tasty DIPA. 3.7

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A good looking beer with a clear burnt caramel colour and a lasting thick well laced head. Aroma of malt and bread, with a hint of hops. An oily feel with a rich taste of malt, honey and hops. A very bitter finish with a hint of malt in the aftertaste.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I am a DIPA devotee, so I generally always try
any Imperial I run across. Found this in Panama
City Beach, FL, bought a 4-pack, drank my first
And may be my last. As suggested in other reviews,
This is piney, which I like, but the malting was overdone
For my palate.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark red orange color. Dark pine and citrus aroma. Big rye bite, resinous pine, honey, biscuit. Pretty malty for an IPA, as it has more rye bite than hop bite, but the resin and aroma are there. Touch of sweetness balanced by the very dry rye.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I knew from the first smell of this beer that it wasn’t gonna quite agree with me. Thankfully I only picked up a four-pack of it. If you’re into the more malty, sweeter and bready double IPAs, then this guy is for you. But if you’re like me that appreciates the full-on hop assault, then this one doesn’t quite fit. Sneaky Pete pours a dark amber color with a modest tan head. The head leaves some nice, sticky lacing around the inside of the glass. As mentioned, the nose is sweet and malty, with some hints of grassy and floral hops. The body is really full and sweet, with lots of caramel and bready malts. There is quite a bit of hops in this beer, but they’re overpowered and shoved off to the side.
