3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Total Wines, Sterling VA. Deep amber with a big, tight, off-white head. Boozy nose, with a yeasty edge and plenty of sticky citrus. Very full in the mouth, with candy sugar, blood orange and red fruits, leading to a hoppy and warming finish. Enjoyable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy brown pour with medium head. Rich malty aroma. Tastes almost like toffee, pleasantly sweet and hops are not overwhelming, alcohol gives a nice fuzziness to the finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
651 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, sea foam, well retained, ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy dark amber (SRM 15) body......nose is sweet malts with tones of toffee/caramel, floral honey, citrus peel, pine.....taste is lightly sweet with toffee/caramel tones, light floral honey notes, pine, grapefruit peel, leading to a soft lingering pine, grapefruit bitterness.....mouth feel medium, soft, slightly sticky, alcohol warmth present, carbonation low with a very light acid finish. As an I/DIPA this is somewhat low in pure hop bitterness, and the sweetness, I assume from the honey, is a bit high. The beer is really quite good, but for usual style standards, needs less sweetness and more brutal hop bitterness. 4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Brown, almost completely foggy. Small light brown head. Aroma has grapefruit and citrus.
Taste has citrus, some malt on the background on the middle. Nice smooth aftertaste with a good level of bitterness. Hop levels are pretty high, really close to the maximum for this beer. Good stuff.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A- pours a hazy rich amber with a light red one finger of head and good lacing. S- floral notes are strong with some caramel malts, Belgium yeast, bubble gum and pine resin. M- medium viscous body with a sticky medium palate and good carbonation. T- floral and resin notes start off. Cinnamon shows some vitality when colder. Sweet caramel malts, sugar water, candies apples and faint honey are next. Some clove character like a saison follow with the pronounced ending featuring some citrus character and more malts. Good autumn IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very dark for an IIPA. Pine cone aroma, not all found in the taste, which is slightly sour. Very creamy mouth feel

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
4-pack for 6.99. Pours a clear golden amber with an off-white head. Smells mostly like floral hops but there is a malt aroma in there as well. Taste is quite balanced between the two flavors with a toffee malt flavor coming through pretty strongly. Hoppy bitterness dominates the end though. Body is thicker with a creamy texture as well. Quite a good DIPA that hides its ABV nicely and is dangerously easy to drink. Not a mindblowing beer but definitely a very good value for what I paid for it.
