Really smells great. Oh yeah, this is tasty. Some strength, but a lot of flavor, a great hop/malt battle. Wow, I have to buy more of this. This is really really good. I mean, I’m eating bacon and it goes well!

UPDATED: APR 23, 2012 One of my favorites, but must be drank from tulip glass or snifter to mute alcohol. Lots of fruit and hops with a hint of tobacco. Delicious brew.

12 oz bottle from Capone’s. Pours deep ruby coppery with 1-finger frothy clingy off-khaki head. Nose is heavy mango, tropical fruit, papaya, intense resiny hops, big caramel malt. Tastes dense on the palate, super hoppy, with tons of caramel malt to match the hops, a bit of heat, and a medley of tropical fruit throughout. I got mango, black pepper, papaya, star fruit, grapefruit, and a long finish. Delicious. SOmeone shoudl do a study to determine which hops lend to the various peppery, feety, and fruity flavors found in beer and try to quantify those variables, as such.
