6/30/2011: The Dogfather Imperial Stout (Aged in old Bourbon Barrels)... Aroma: Semi-sweet chocolate; Appearance: Extremely deep brown color (almost black) with a large, reverse-cascading brown-colored head. Flavor: Semi-sweet chocolate blended with red wine, over-cooked bacon (carbonized) - actually, Iíve place the flavor as PORK RINDS (especially in the finish and aftertaste); absolutely no bourbon, oak, vanilla, or similar is evident. Palate: Medium-bodied; smooth. Overall: Another WEIRD brew; Iíll pass on a second sample!

Bottle thnx to lionsandbeer, shared @WWT III. Pours a pitch black, headless beer with an aroma of bourbon, licorice and malts. Some roastiness detected. Flavour is sweet, returning loads of of the bourbon and alcohol. Definitely a great balanced beer, awesome crafted. This is great
