COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copious quantities of hops and an assertive alcohol content are the foundation of our best-selling beer. Crystal malts and a blend of Yakima grown Fuggles, Centennial, Cascade, and Ahtanum hops impart a very satisfying balance. This ale is late-hopped in the hop back for added flavor and aroma.

Draught at the Laurelwood NW Public House. Notes from tasting session. Excellent balance, featuring malt flavors over the hopping.

On tap at Corey and Monica’s kick-ass Pig Roast for Labor Day weekend. It washed down Jeter the pig wonderfully and didn’t wear me out, so I was able to pee standing up that night.

Hazy light amber, cascade aroma. Cascade flavor, malt is there but not St th forefront. The cascades dominate the flavor and aroma profile.

Had this on tap (some time ago) at the Laurelwood Public House on NE Sandy Blvd. in Portland, OR. Colour... cloudy copper-amber with a thick off-white head. Nose... hoppy with some malt. Palate... I like the blend of hops used for this IPA as they make for quite a citrus oriented palate, but the malt is not to be denied its time and graciously helps keep a balance. The Boss is a nice quaffer for the, "light" end of the west coast IPA style!

From a draft pour at the 51st and Sandy brewpub this poured a cloudy amber with a medium white head and good lacing. Nose of citrus hops and caramel malts. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is lightly bitter and this is in the finish as well. A very solid and well balanced IPA.

Nothing outrageous, but a pretty classic west coast IPA. Very drinkable with a solid dose of hops in the finish.

Draft @ Philadelphias Steaks and Hoagies Brewpub, Portland, OR. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small white head. Has a slightly sweetish malty hoppy citrus aroma. Malty hoppy bitter flavor with some nice hints of grapefruit. Has a malty hoppy bitter finish.

Great kick, especially to drink in the airport. Very decent ABV for a single IPA. Hops variety is key.

12 oz bottle via Liquid SOl. Pours a NEAR CLEAR DARK AMBER WITH A LARGE chunky HEAD THAT LEAVES A loT OF spider webbing. Nose is herbal, floral and a bit alcoholic. Taste is grainy with lots of earthy hoppiness and seems more like an English or East Coast IPA. Less Fuggles and AHtanum hops, less Crystal more....and pump up the Centennials and this would be good...Not what i enjoy or expect from a Pac NW IPA... Body is light, carbonation moderate to high.
