sloth (1483), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA Jul 8, 2008 Medium sized tan head, retention is fair with some spotty, stringy lace. Lightly hazy copper hued brew with some floatys dropping out of suspension. Nose is soft with notes of caramel, light citrus and pine, somewhat leafy. Body is medium with a light prickly carbonation, lightly oily on the palate. Almost dry caramel malts, bready, slightly buttery backed up by quiet hop notes of pine and cutrus, earthy and lightly fruity. Lightly sweet malty finish with a delayed hop bite. Thanks Cliff! bitbucket (1455), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jul 3, 2008 On tap at Laurelwood Pizza. Pours a clear golden orange with a lacy off-white head. Medium body and light carbonation. Pine and grapefruit nose, fruit and citrus taste, semi-dry finish. SDbruboy (1808), San Diego, California, USA May 5, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Liquid Solutions. Pours a hazy medium amber-pecan color, with a small off-white head. Toasty, biscuity and lightly caramel malts, summer fruits, florals and spicy citrus make up the aroma. Flavor of citrus fruits, toasty grains, peach and pear, floral hops, orange peel, dust and spice. Medium body, lightly tingly carbonation. bhensonb (2687), Woodland, California, USA Apr 11, 2008 Bottle. Primary aroma is caramel, but there seems to be citrus and pine as well. Orange tinged amber color with a white head that just flattened. Medium body with smooth, mild carbonation. Flavor is more floral hop than anything else, with caramel beneath. The finish is not truly dry, but very pleasant. Seems more like a smooth ESB than an IPA. Really tasty drink in any case. Monger (438), Roscoe, Illinois, USA Feb 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, and caramel. Taste is slightly bitter from the hops and a little malty with a bit of caramel on the back of the tongue. Has a semi sweet finish. Has a decent balance of flavor. Not a bad beer at all.
