COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copious quantities of hops and an assertive alcohol content are the foundation of our best-selling beer. Crystal malts and a blend of Yakima grown Fuggles, Centennial, Cascade, and Ahtanum hops impart a very satisfying balance. This ale is late-hopped in the hop back for added flavor and aroma.

Clear golden color. Great head and lacing. Big citrus nose and great flavor. Lots of pine and sitrus with a good malt backbone. Good beer.

Tap@Laurelwood. Pretty bitter isthought. Theres obviously the sweet lychee, pine, but the citric orange rind bitterness, gives it decent balance, pretty OK with me.

Amber bronze color with good sticky head & lots of lacing. The aroma is floral & spicy with a delicious hop blend. The flavor has more swet herbal notes with a bit of sweet malt.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2008 Pours a amber color with a white head that left moderate lacing. Amazing malty hop aroma that used citrusy hops that were very strong. Taste was malty at first then ended nice and bitter. Smooth creamy mouthfeel, quite enjoyable.

Nice round maltiness, balanced with the sweetness. Sticky hops, kind of a weak finish.

Yellow-orange color, lasting cream head. A rather boring aroma--somewhat grassy and hoppy. Good provisino of malts, some stickiness in the mouth, but a long yucky bitterness. I really liked some of the Laurelwood beers, and the atmosphere as well, but this is below average in the style, especially within the Northwest tradition. (on tap at the Laurelwood Public House)

GABF '03. Another average (at best) offering from these guys. Light orange color with mellow floral nose. No hop bitterness, which I like. Boring.
