Taste is malt, mild orange peel and mellow resin in the finish. Medium mouth feel. Nothing extreme about this beer, just a decent drinkable IPA. The flavor is sweet mlaty and again with grassy notes of hops, leading to a dry grassy finish. Good pale malt sweet flavors with tasty pine sap hops. Has a nicely bitter finish. Good ipa here. Draft@ PDX brewpub. sloth (1518), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA Jul 8, 2008 Medium sized tan head, retention is fair with some spotty, stringy lace. Lightly hazy copper hued brew with some floatys dropping out of suspension. Nose is soft with notes of caramel, light citrus and pine, somewhat leafy. Body is medium with a light prickly carbonation, lightly oily on the palate. Almost dry caramel malts, bready, slightly buttery backed up by quiet hop notes of pine and cutrus, earthy and lightly fruity. Lightly sweet malty finish with a delayed hop bite.
