4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 29, 2006
On tap at Laurelwood, Portland. Copper with lasting off white head. Attractive sherbert hop aroma. OK, so it’s an IPA, a proper PNW one, so you have boat loads of sherberty hop, especially on end. Still slightly nettley. Has moderate malt to supoort it, but hop is extreme. But it is lovely. I had another pint a couple of nights later and still enjoyed it.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 anders37 (9919) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 29, 2008
Draft @ Philadelphias Steaks and Hoagies Brewpub, Portland, OR. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small white head. Has a slightly sweetish malty hoppy citrus aroma. Malty hoppy bitter flavor with some nice hints of grapefruit. Has a malty hoppy bitter finish.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bhensonb (7592) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 11, 2008
Bottle. Primary aroma is caramel, but there seems to be citrus and pine as well. Orange tinged amber color with a white head that just flattened. Medium body with smooth, mild carbonation. Flavor is more floral hop than anything else, with caramel beneath. The finish is not truly dry, but very pleasant. Seems more like a smooth ESB than an IPA. Really tasty drink in any case.

12oz bottle. Poured a deeper and slightly hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus and had a light skunky earthiness. Tastes of citrus, earthy, and some caramel. Nice balance.

Golden/pale amber colour, thin white head. Aroma of citrus and light tropical fruit. Semi-sweet malt with a sweet fruity hop flavour balancing it out. A bit of spicy hop flavour as well. Well-balanced beer. Nice combination of spicy and citrusy hops. Easy-drinking IPA.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 CaptainCougar (6851) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - DEC 15, 2007
12oz bottle: Pours a transparent copper orange with a thin ring of spotty-lacing wispy white head. Aroma of lightly sweet pale malt with some light vegetal notes and a touch of grapefruity hops. Body starts with some foamy carbonation and faint sweetness with doughy vegetable notes and an earthy bittersweet finish. Something definitely seems off with this and I’m guessing I probably got a bad bottle.
