COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copious quantities of hops and an assertive alcohol content are the foundation of our best-selling beer. Crystal malts and a blend of Yakima grown Fuggles, Centennial, Cascade, and Ahtanum hops impart a very satisfying balance. This ale is late-hopped in the hop back for added flavor and aroma.

Light grass and oranges aroma wafts from this mildly hazy amber ale with a nice rocky head. Flavor is very nice without overpowering. Light caramel with grass, lemons and a clean finish. Medium bodied and very drinkable. An easy drinking IPA

Clear golden color. Great head and lacing. Big citrus nose and great flavor. Lots of pine and sitrus with a good malt backbone. Good beer.

Bottle. Pours a hazy bubbly tawny. Ivory head, frothy and lasting. Strong aroma of citron, hops and notes of fir. Very hoppy, with caramel and a bit of sandiness. Lingering finish with lasting bitterness. Worth trying on draught or bottle.

On tap at Laurelwood, Portland. Copper with lasting off white head. Attractive sherbert hop aroma. OK, so it’s an IPA, a proper PNW one, so you have boat loads of sherberty hop, especially on end. Still slightly nettley. Has moderate malt to supoort it, but hop is extreme. But it is lovely. I had another pint a couple of nights later and still enjoyed it.

Poured a bright orange copper clear body with a medium-sized bouncing white head. Nice lacing. Luxurious floral and fruity hop nose with great malt back. Mouth feel is grapefruity and piney. Quintessential PNW IPA feel. Finishes smooth and flavorful. Yum!

Tasty IPA for sure. More golden than amber. The flavor is of citrus and PNW Hops. The body is medium and the beer has a slight bitter finish. Good stuff.

from bottle. I smell oranges, hops, light resin, white pepper. solid off white head on beautiful orange yellow clarity. with flavor that hint of orange, slightly oily texture/density. hops more resiny than citrus but definitely both, just enough malt to barely hold it to the ground. avoids the metallic taste some high bitterness ales have.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2008 Pours a amber color with a white head that left moderate lacing. Amazing malty hop aroma that used citrusy hops that were very strong. Taste was malty at first then ended nice and bitter. Smooth creamy mouthfeel, quite enjoyable.
