COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What you hold in your hand is a very special beer. Unlike most of the beers we produce- meant to be consumed fresh as possible, our Framboise takes nearly two years to create. This Belgian-style ale starts out like most many beers undergoing a two-week fermentation process. From there, things go radically different. The beer was moved to wooden barrels where we added Oregon raspberries and several types of “wild” yeast and bacteria to give create this unique beer

Pours a bright pink with a fizzy white head. Lots of raspberry and belgian yeast esters in the aroma. Flavor has lots of raspberry and is pretty acidic. Champange-like carbonation and light-medium body. The raspberry acidity bit pretty hard on the palate but I still really liked this beer. Would have liked it to have a little funk or must.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Tart raspberry, bready malts, thin, dry finish, fruity, slight tartness. This did not show well with all of the other lambics that were sampled.

Bottle from Corvallis. Pours a hazy orange with a faint purple hue to it. Offwhite head. Nose is solidly raspberry. Grainy notes in the nose as well. Fruit forward. On tasting, quite brett forward. Light tartness from the fruit. Fruit dominates here, lightly tart and clean. Dry finish. Really nice though not particularly sour.

Bottle shared by Brian, thanks! Pours a hazy reddish amber with a white head that dissipates quickly and nearly completely. Aroma has a good amount of raspberry and a decent amount tartness. Flavor starts with nice light sweet raspberry and a bit of growing tartness.

Thanks Brian. Pours hazed amber orange with white head. Aroma raspberry, Brett. Flavors watery Brett with raspberry and watermelon. Spritzy feel. Not sour at all but enjoyable in a sessionable way.

Shared by starrdogg at a recent tasting. Thanks Matt! The beer is pink, appearing cloudy and hazy. The head is small and diminishes rapidly, leaving sparse lacing on the glass. The aroma is the best aspect of this beer. Piquant raspberries with a pleasant earthy quality. The taste is decent, but certainly a step down from the nose. Sharp and acetic finish, stinging the palate. Overall, this was OK. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 02-27-2012

Bottle at the Boise taste raspberries all night long tasting. Pours a deep red hue with a small white head. A nice nose of rich berries, wood and sourness. A very mellow flavor with big woody notes, berries, dusty, light funk, not too sour. Dry. Spicy at times. Good.

The pour was red and cloudy with a white head and some pink notes coming through. Fruity and sweet with definite rasberry prescence and some tart. Taste is somewhat dry with some back end sourness. Good stuff!

Bottle shared at a recent tasting generously hosted by hannont... Poured murky, cloudy reddish with an off-white, pinkish head. I was actually surprised how well made this was. Noticeable raspberry sweetness and raspberry-like tartness. A little dry on the palate with wood and lactic acid. Full on the fruit flavor that was cut by a souring finish.
