Oct 18, 2007 Fresh Hop Kölsch on tap at their public house in Nob Hill. I asked for this one and I was handed a pint glass with beer that was ruby in color with a thin head (?). Anyway, tasted yeasty and hoppy with sort of a caramel popcorn undertone. I wonder if this was their ESB that was on seasonal tap before hand and they changed their signs before they could change their tap. Anyway, there’s no ESB under their profile so I’m posting this here for now until it’s updated or I find out more.

Oct 13, 2007 They had the fresh hop on tap at the new Laurelwood on 51st and Sandy, this might not be the same as the 500 though. Pours soft gold color with a smooth white head. Big sweet hop nose, big citrus and resiny character. Taste was very bitter, a bit to much in my opinion for a fresh hop beer, the bitterness covered up the sweeter green hop taste.
