3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light transparent copper, little head. Super floral hoppy aroma, with some sweet mandarin and honey behind. Pungent, and it’s got a really nice flavor, too. Slightly dilute - needs a bit of crispness, but it’s definitely a nice, but gentle, hop-forward IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Pours a cloudy golden orange color along with a layer of sudsy off-white head. In the aroma, it’s mostly dank, earthy hops, pine resin and grapefruit. The flavor starts out with a fair amount of resinous, vegetal hops bitterness and grapefruit rind as well as some pine and orange citrus. Also a tiny bit of toasted malt and caramel sweetness toward the end. Somewhat of a creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a bitter, citrus finish. Overall, it’s a solid West Coast IPA but not quite as tasty as Workhorse.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Delicious IPA. Malts have lots of bread, caramel and cocoa. Hops are green, pine-like, dank and citrusy. Bold, grapefruit bitterness gives it a snappy edge.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bottle, split with dwm1034. Thanks! Pours a cloudy amber color with a lot of floaties. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, a little malty. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, a little hoppy, With a light bitter finish. Just ok. Bottle might be a little a bit old.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle:   Fiery Amber, sediment showing on the bottom of the glass, moderate foamy white head, fairly nice
lacing.   Citrus zest and pith on the nose, slightly sweet.   Moderate to light bitterness on the tongue, not
terribly hoppy, moreso a citrus or pith sort of bitterness.   Does have a slight citrusy sweet aspect to it too.
Not a big beer, seems like a bigger Pale or a lighter IPA.   I say that because the bitterness isnt terribly
strong.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Light citrus and hop bitterness on the finish, with a mild sweet
background.   Its clean and easy to drink, just not a big IPA.   Not a hop heads type of beer, but still

Its okay, an IPAish suitable for your average microbeer swilling hipster. Otherwise not exciting.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz. from Chuck’s. Second Laurelwood in a row that disappoints. Familiar floral and citrus aromas belie a marginal beer. Sweeter malt up front but that quickly dissipates leaving a thin and reedy mid-palate degenerating into bitter by the end. Carbonation is nice but it just tastes stale. Maybe a bad bottle...
