Draft at Green Dragon: amber golden color. Citrusy hops and candi aroma. Flavor is sweet and quite bitter. Both citrus and pine hop flavor. Slightly cloying candi sweetness. Atleast if finishes clean. Only hopheads need apply on this one. Bitter and sweet but barely any malt or hop flavor.

Draft - mine was listed as 9.5% ABV. A dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of hops as well as medium notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of both caramel and hops, leading to a dry bitter and very hefty grassy finish. WOUW.

Tap @ Restaurant: Hazy copper, light head and lacing. Nose of bright sweet pale malts, starchy intense hops and a bitter resinous, sticky mouthfeel. Explosive and big headed, a bit too sticky and sweet with that stout body, it’s just too brash and not hoppy enough to balance.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2012 From a growler which was filled at their NW location... Poured a burnt orange with an off-white head. Florally hops on the nose. Really smooth and silky, and really easy to drink for 9.1%. There’s a wood or oak presence. Sort of like a chocolate malt presence with leafy hop characteristics and finishes really smooth.
