Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 12, 2005 Light amber/gold with a foamy head and light lacing. Bitter, floral hops in the nose. Strong presence. Caramel malts and mango. Bitter citrus flavors with some lemons and grapefruit. Caramel and alcohol. Almost reminds me of cough drops. Finishes with a hint of mint and grapefruit. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Mar 11, 2005 Small diminishing head on top of a hazy light amber golden body. Aroma is heavy hops, some flowers and some citrus with earty yeast. A thinner IPA but enjoyable as its not too chewy or syrupy as a lot of Imperials tend to be. Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Mar 10, 2005 On tap at the brewpub

Slightly golden amber colour. Chewy, woody hop aroma. Slightly minty accents to the woody, grapefruity hop assault. Resiny bitterness with only a light background malt. BückDich (4605), Boise, Idaho, USA Mar 9, 2005 Sampled draught at Laurelwood Public House, Portland
Hazy gold, no head, light lacing. Nose of lots of fresh potent hops, citrusy & piney. The flavor is balanced as loads of hops flow down your throat. Finishes bitter, warm, yum.
