(22oz bottle) Pours a hazy orange body with a tall dense rocky root beer float-like off-white head. Aroma of florals, caramel, biscuit, and orange. Flavor of orange, caramel, apricot, and bread with a moderately bitter finish. Nice balance of hops and malt.

On tap - This is a very solid IPA. It has a very nice aroma of hops that makes me want to drink it. Tastes like I want to drink more. If this Hop Monkey were turning an organ grinder, I’d give it some money.

A very tasty IPA. Shared from a 22oz with a couple of friends in Portland. Nice brownish hued IPA with a nice hop balance and a great flavor.

Peaches and Pine on the nose, some apricot. clear bright gold. More of the same, juicy apricot collides with lush piney goodness, kind of clashing. fruit prevails in the finish, clean and full bodied. Growing on me with each sip.

2010-06-26. Crisp golden yellow, with a nice off-white head and lace. 3+ Hoppy grapefruit and lemon citrus in the aroma. 7+ Flavour has a good amount of bitterness, grapefruit seeds, but not astringent, touches of lemon, pale mat. 7+ Average palate is just a hair light, but almost seems to suit it somehow. UPDATED: SEP 6, 2010 3 oz. Taster @ Battle Ground Public House April 4th 2010. 6.4% ABV. 60 IBU’s. Thin mild lace head. Clear pretty bright rich gold color. Earthy citrus hop front. On tap at the laurel wood location at pdx. Nicely surprised by this one. Great hop taste. Nicely carbonated. Good citrus aftertaste

22. Pours a hazy bronzed medium amber with a dense and sudsy off-white head that sticks around a bit, leaving a fair sheet of lacing down the sides of the glass. Doesn’t smell like much, especially for a beer with "Hop" as the first word in its name and "citrusy hop aroma" in its marketing badge. There’s some orange and lemon there, but they’re quite subdued. Or the beer might be ridiculously cold, maybe. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, biscuit, and orange on the mid palate, with some pine resin rounding out the finish. Very approachable and a satisfying drinker; with big hop aromatics it would really start landing some body blows.

Very solid offering. Dynamic and expressive hop aroma. Floral and fruity with light pine and a touch of caramel sweetness.

Bomber from Bottle Trek. Pours orange gold with a decent white head and fine bubbles. Lots of floral hop aroma. Medium body with nice carbonation. Flavor is a light caramel backbone overtopped by lots of floral, and I think citrus, hop. Enough hop to create a mild burning sensation. Really hoppy finish. Just excellent.
