Commercial Description: For the final entry in our Dream IPA contest comes Brewer Paul Bergeman's Lucky 7 IPA which is available as of May 31. A blend of seven hops and seven pounds of dry hops late in fermentation make this one hoppy beer. Lucky 7 has a strong citrus nose followed by smooth bitterness. If you're a fan of Northwest-style IPA's then this is the beer for you. With 77 IBUs, this beer was born lucky. Other relevant beer stats: 6.1% ABV & O.G. 15.2 Plato.
Hazy light amber. Woody, slightly grapefruity aroma. Moderate bitterness. Woody, grapefruity hops. Pale and slightly breadcrusty malts show through, especially in the finish. Some apricotty notes emerge late as well. Clean, balanced.
