3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - thanks Chris! Pours clear orange, large off-white head dissipates slowly leaving lots of residual foam and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is in your face pine, dank forest floor, some passionfruit. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, not harsh. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Not bad, but not top tier.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a rich orange copper color with three fingers of tight sticky white foam. Lots of tangerine and citrus up front that opens into a floral straw, pine forest dankness backed by soft candy corn sweetness. Palate follows with a huge hop profile meandering through tropical fruit, citrus, sap, fieldgrass and honey. Really nicely constructed and the bitterness to sweetness level keeps it very drinkable !

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Solid DIPA. As usual, more resiny notes for such a high ABV. There’s nothing that calls this out as being best of breed dipa, but nothing that says otherwise, either. Just a very good, solid specimen.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JAN 16, 2016 From bomber. Pours a dark amber honey color, hazy, with a medium off-white head. Aromas of grapefruit and pine with some caramel. Taste is the same, bitter with strong sweetness in there, too. Bitter finish. Enjoyed again on tap at ABV Pub in Hillsboro, OR, and I upgraded my rating. Delicious and nicely balanced DIPA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
What do we have here, hmmm...a nice lookin’ DIPA from one of my favorite Oregon companies.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice hazy golden bronzed orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. The lacing was fairly light but carried a nice smooth glazing around the glass.
The smell started off with some grapefruit in front and then had a sharp spice that I can’t quite right place what exactly that is. I will say that there is a nice onion/garlic thing going on but to me, I like that. It really smells absolutely awesome.
The taste was slightly sweet and bitter and it carried over a nice spice from the garlic/onion I think I got.
On the palate, this one sat right at a medium on the body. I think I wanted to drink it, but found myself sipping it for the most part. ABV seems to be slightly deceiving however, the bitterness for a DIPA is there as it adequately pounds my tongue into submission.
Overall, wow, what a really nice DIPA, no flaws as this is one I super like for what it is and who it came from. I wish I could get it on a regular basis.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
22. Pours a murky medium amber with a dense and creamy light tan head that never really goes away all the way. Big sweet nose, showing nice pineapple and plenty of grapefruit, along with some untoasted caramel. Creamy thick body with lively carb. Some straight caramel along with tons of fruits--lots of mango and pineapple, but mostly sweet pink grapefruit. Big grapefruity finish. This is a big bad beer that’s just waiting to get everybody into trouble.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz bomber served in a tulip glass. Pours dark orangish copper with thick creamy head that retains well. Aroma is sweet juicy caramel malt with floral, leafy, hops on the back. Light notes of citrus and pine. Taste is big, lightly roasty caramel malt - sweetness is surprisingly restrained. Nice fresh hop flavors - floral citrus, pine, and vegetal notes. Fairly dry on the finish. Would love to taste this next to Green Mammoth, via my notes they seem quite similar. Hop notes are a bit richer here, so it comes out slightly ahead.

Bottle from unknown via Jordan. Pours a cloudy medium orange, slightly cloudy. Aroma citrus, resin, sharp. Not essentially my style, but very well done.
