On tap at the Portland airport. Dull gold in color. Aroma of fruit, bread and sweet malt. Not much hop presence in the noise. Flavor was the same with some minerally elements and a bit of earthy and citrus hops. Ok.

Tap at the NW brewpub. This was the first beer I drank in PDX, so I know it wasn’t palate fatigue. This beer was actually quite nice, full flavored, and drinkable. A PDX version of Bud I guess.

Buttery golden, not served with garnish, and forces one to actually drink the beer. A good golden.

Draft. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of citrus, and so is the flavor, while the body is thin. Boring.

On tap at Laurelwood Public House. Pours clear dark gold with a lacy white head. Aroma, body and carbonation tending to the light side. Just a little bit of toffee and a hint of citrus. Crisp finish.

I enjoyed this one. Nothing too complex, just a well balanced, tasty golden ale. Flavor was crisp and clean with a slight hint of citrus. A great way to start a session.

Very fine for a basic brew. Poured rich golden amber with a good amount of fluffy head. Lots of lacing. A very fine golden ale. Can’t wait to try it on draft. Well balanced, a nice alternative to the macros. Recommended. Good luck finding it.
