The 20th beer tasted in a 28 beer blind BW tasting. Poured a slightly hazed deep amber color with a small creamy off-white head. Sweet fruit malt with notes of cherry and light alcohol. Fruity flavor with phenolic smoke. Light tart fruit on the finish. Light to medium body.

1 liter flip-top bottle. This reddish copper beer poured with a decent off-white head that dissipated quickly. The flavor is initially sweet and malty, but finishes dry and slightly harsh with a warm alcohol sensation. I greatly enjoyed trying this well-crafted beer with a limited distribution. Thanks for sharing, Bill.

Bottle shared with Marcus. Color is reddish tinged amber with a reluctant (or should it be shy) white head. Warm caramel aroma. Near medium body with mild, surprisingly, carbonation - it prickles the tongue. Very dry for the style - almost astringent. There’s oak in this. Caramel and hint of mild stone fruits. The finish is rather light.
