3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: Pours a clear, red-orange body with a wispy, white head.
Smell: Faint, dry caramel maltiness to the aroma with a woody hop character and a touch of pine.
Taste: Dry caramel flavor at first, though a subtle, sugary sweetness eventually emerges. Earthy woodiness, light pine. Medium hop bitterness. Dry, lightly bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Why, what we have here is an acceptable amber ale.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a transparent orange bronze with a clingy, spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty caramel malt and a fairly fresh citrusy hoppiness. Body starts about average for the style with a decent toasty sweetness and resiny hop balance before a crisp, bittersweet finish. Very drinkable and smooth.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Another quality beer from Laurelwood. Bottle from Johnís Market poured a beautiful red color with a nice white head. Good lacing. A little hoppy for an amber. More like a I.R.A. Still, a well balanced beer.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is a damn near perfect red ale! perfct red in color with no haze or floats. Sweet, slight cherry aroma with some lightly toasted malt. Slight cherry and caramel flavor, balanced nicely by crisp, tart hops. Finishes with some residual sugar. This beer is great!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Biscuit aroma backed by a small amount of floral hop. Amber color with a beige head. Near medium body with smooth carbonation. Flavor is light caramel with a balancing amount of bitter. Probably grapefruit hop. Pretty strong flavors. Like an ESB? Probably too much bitter for the style, but thatís a good thing.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Pours an appealing dark red.garnet color. The head is light tank with average head retention and lacing. Aroma of biscuity malt and grapefruit. Taste is the same with medium body and nice roundness of malt and hops in the finish. A nice brew and one of the best organic brews Iíve tasted.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the BP. Clear red amber with a full persistant off whiye head. Very nice sheeting lacing. Lightly hoppy aroma and a earthy woody flavor. Papery and woody like the amber. Similar malt bill possibly. Moderate palate and carbonation.
