3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Well, another day, another beer after having yesterdays flights cancelled. Solid amber beer with a thinly poured light tan head that leaves some speckled lacing. Very appealing smelling first thing in the morning beer. Sweet and soothing caramel base with soft citrus notes, oranges and peach. Tasty! Similar to the aroma with a bit more assertive hop, some rrgf and peaches. Smoothly carbonated and a soft feel that you want to bury you face into. Pounded back in about 7 minutes. Good beer!

2010-06-26. Crisp red-amber body, modest foamy beige head. 3+ Very interesting aroma, well balanced leafy green hops and mild citrus, mild malt. 7+ Flavour is similar, interesting hop profile, modest green leaf, muddled citrus, mild malt support. 7+ Average palate. Not overly assertive, but flavourful and eminently drinkable. Nice. On Tap at Laurelwood NW Public House, Portland.

Pours a red color with almost no white head. Light aroma of biscuit malt and hops. Flavor is mellow but nice. Biscuity and a touch of bitter hops. Glad to see it is a bit on the hoppy side. Clean hoppy finish.

22 oz. from Fremont PCC. I left this one standing around in the mug for a bit linger than I normally would, though I donít know if that affected its flavor. When itís cold, a lot of the sweetness disappears and I get a weird astringent flavor. After it warms up, most of the malt comes out and commingles nicely with the hops.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A bronzed-bodied ale with an adequate head and exuding a mild-honeyed, red-malt aroma. An array of low to mid-spectrum crystal malt varieties form the backbone, but this beer was still a bit lacking.
