The aroma is heavy on Amarillo and Cascade hops. The flavor is mostly tasty hops, pine and citrus. Excellent example of a West Coast IPA. hayduke (1641), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 13, 2009 From a 22 oz bottle this poured a nice rich amber with a fairly fat off-white head and good lacing. Aromas of various hops, floral, pine, and citrus make this a delight for nose. Mouthfeel smooth and a bit oily. Favor is well balanced between malts and hops and there is a nice bitter finish. A very good IPA. hopdog (5552), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Very piney and smooth on the way down, I could drink a whole bunch of these in one sitting. If only all organics were created equal... beerbuzzmontreal (2911), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 30, 2008 Solid aroma of pine needles, oranges and malt. Pours a cloudy amber color with a thin white head. Good flavor of piney, citrusy hops with a competent malt back-bone and some bitterness in the end. The body is light to medium with an oily texture and gentle carbonation. This is a very pleasant IPA. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA

Nose is subdued but a nice floral/citrus aroma. The taste has a very nice hop profile..a perfect balance between grapefruit, orange, pepper, and a little earthiness with just the right amount of hoppiness carrying through. Carbonation is just right, body is perfect. Damned good beer. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA

Poured a copper color with a the aroma of citrus hops. Not being a big fan of overly hoppy IPA’s this one instantly became one of my favorites in the genre. The malt backbone balances the citrus hops almost perfectly. Great for just an regular IPA. timfoolery (484), California, USA

Usually, organics just aren’t good, but this one had great flavor and a palate to boot. It was fuller in body than most IPAs (reminding me a little of TF Dreadnaught), although the hops were more citrusy than bitter pine. I actually loved this one for what it was: a very good, malty IPA.
