Your hospitality is both surprising and overwhelming. :-) This beer is one of those little gems that comes out of nowhere. Maybe it’s just the perfect match for a certain palate or maybe it’s a bit underrecognized--either way, this is a kickin IPA. I hope they can broaden their distro to include a regular stop somewhere in Seattle. Pours a nice ruddy orangeish medium amber with a thick, though brief, little creamy tan head. Nice peach and especially mango nose. Just a fruit-forward delight; really smells like there could be fruit flesh in the glass. Creamy medium body, active carb. Very sessionable body. Caramelly biscuit mid-palate, but that pales in comparison to the lovely peach and mango hop payload. Not the fruitiest or sweetest IPA around, but refreshing and flavorful and very drinkable. Tidy little resin grace note for a finish. Great stuff. greenhorn1 (460), Mission Viejo, California, USA

This is a great PNW ipa, you will never know that it is organic. Pours amber, airy head and tons-o-lacing. Aroma and flavor of big citrus hoppiness, floral and the grapefruit explodes in your mouth. Niclely balanced with a lingering bitter finish. This one surprised me, I have not had good experiences with organics, but this is a must try. Skyview (4034), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Sampled on tap while visiting the Belmont Station during the American Breweriana Association Annual Meeting (ABA) in Portland, Oregon. Pours a hazy orange-ish amber brew with a decent off-white head that slowly dissolves to a fine film. Aroma of tart grapefruits, piney herbs, and a touch of caramel malt. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied with a dry grapefruit flavor. The hop flavor overpowers the malt flavors. Finish is dry, a little rough with a lingering bitter aftertaste. This one will keep the hopheads happy. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

Floral piquant nose with bitter and sweet notes. Finishing bitterness did not strip palate of taste buds. Yummy beer, quite pleasant and quaffable. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | May 4, 2007 Light amber color, tremendously hoppy oder. A hoppy aftertaste as well, which is good, cause its not pungent. A quality organic. Would drink again! A+++
