Commercial Description:
Green Elephant is green because it's made from organic malts, and elephant because of the Amarillo, Ahtanum and organic Cascade hops. It's medium-bodied with a subtle malt underpining and an explosive hop flavor and bitterness. Dang, the elephant is hoppy.

Tap at Bier Cafe: Hazy amber, small beige head. Piney hop nose. Piney lasting hop profile, well balanced. Has great Belgian lace and decent body

Bright orange-copper-tawny ideal IPA hue with medium white head. Floral piquant nose with bitter and sweet notes. Finishing bitterness did not strip palate of taste buds. Yummy beer, quite pleasant and quaffable.

Bottle. Clear amber with a viscous white head, nice lacing. Awesome smell of spruce sap and ganja bud smoke, wow....love that. Smooth palate and lightly carbonated. Good, simple flavors of semi sweet caramel with piney hops. Nicely bitter to finish. Great aroma, good taste.

From a 22 oz bottle this poured a nice rich amber with a fairly fat off-white head and good lacing. Aromas of various hops, floral, pine, and citrus make this a delight for nose. Mouthfeel smooth and a bit oily. Favor is well balanced between malts and hops and there is a nice bitter finish. A very good IPA.

A hazy brown color, a piney hoppy nose with a soapy, sharp piney, fruity mouth with a restrained bitter finish.

On Tap... poured a honey tone with a thin white head. Earthy hop aroma. Palate is mildly carbonated and a bit chewey. Flavors of dry hops, pine and peppery spices, and a little soapy undertone. Dry finish.

Poured a hazy orange color with an off white head. Aroma was mainly citrusy hops. Flavor was a lot of citrus hops and pretty malty, almost too malty to cover up the hops.

Bright amber with medium head. Pine hop aroma with a little nug and citrus. Hoppy, but very well balanced with earthy malt. Enjoyable, but didn’t knock my socks off.
