Awesome smell of spruce sap and ganja bud smoke, wow....love that. Smooth palate and lightly carbonated. Good, simple flavors of semi sweet caramel with piney hops. Nicely bitter to finish. Great aroma, good taste. hayduke (1692), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 13, 2009 From a 22 oz bottle this poured a nice rich amber with a fairly fat off-white head and good lacing. Aromas of various hops, floral, pine, and citrus make this a delight for nose. Mouthfeel smooth and a bit oily. Favor is well balanced between malts and hops and there is a nice bitter finish. A very good IPA. TimE (1368), Tokyo, Japan
