Commercial Description:
Green Elephant is green because it's made from organic malts, and elephant because of the Amarillo, Ahtanum and organic Cascade hops. It's medium-bodied with a subtle malt underpining and an explosive hop flavor and bitterness. Dang, the elephant is hoppy.

Pours a slightly cloudy copper, rich head with some retention. Incredibly floral aroma that also presents caramel, soy, and curry spice. Dry and leafy, noticeable hop spiciness, and the finish lingers about with just the right amount of hop bitterness. The best Northwest IPA I’ve had in ages, many thanks to the Beerman at Whole Foods in Portland, OR, who told me I had to buy it!

22 oz bottle from New Seasons - Seasonal. Big Hoppy Beer. Hops kind of mask everything else, but very nice. I’d get it in a keg (if it were available), but it’s not for the masses.

Light amber color, tremendously hoppy oder. A hoppy aftertaste as well, which is good, cause its not pungent. A quality organic. Would drink again! A+++

Clear deep golden color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is a big citrus splash - tangerine, grapefruit, limes and a touch of pine and some floral notes. Flavor is nicely balanced - big malts, light caramel, and lots of big hop flavors - citrus and grassy. Not overly bitter, just enough.

22 oz bottle from BottleTrek.com. This is a great PNW ipa, you will never know that it is organic. Pours amber, airy head and tons-o-lacing. Aroma and flavor of big citrus hoppiness, floral and the grapefruit explodes in your mouth. Niclely balanced with a lingering bitter finish. This one surprised me, I have not had good experiences with organics, but this is a must try.

22 oz bottle via Liquid SOl. Pours a clear reddish amber with a large beige head. Nose is subdued but a nice floral/citrus aroma. The taste has a very nice hop profile..a perfect balance between grapefruit, orange, pepper, and a little earthiness with just the right amount of hoppiness carrying through. Carbonation is just right, body is perfect. Damned good beer.

Tangy citrus and pine in the nose, it smells like some centennials. Nice amber in color with a nice thick head. Nice combination of lemony hops, light pine with a solid malt backbone. Plenty of sweetness for those hops to ride on. Rich, chewy and creamy. Very nice.

Medium gold color. Medium head. Aroma is hop spicy and fruity. A big hoppy IPA. Malts are nutty and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and slightly floral. Somewhat bitter. Well balanced. Very clean tasting IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter.
