4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Jet black. Amazing espresso flavor. Amazing. Not much head, no lacing. More coffee than stout. Some oats would make this close to a 5. Thanks aaron.

Bottle. Dark coffee pour with a finger of mocha head. Espresso, bandaid, dried dark fruits and nuts. Medium body with refreshing carbonation. Great smooth yet bitter finish like a great espresso

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Nice brown with a light brown head. Roasted chocolate, tasty coffee, reminds me of sumptown cold brew on nitro a bit, dry, easy to drink, moderate carbonation and body.

It’s rare that I find a local Stout I haven’t tried before, so when I do, I usually fall in love. This beer is no exception.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours with two finger dense tan head partially lasting with some lace. The aroma is rich high quality coffee, dark hearty bread fairly well toasted, The flavor has a good bit of pine on all that with touch of vanilla and more a stronger dark roast quality that rides out. The feel is cool silt, touch of acidity and minerality, not so lively but still fresh. I’m really enjoying this one having so much flavor without being and alcohol monster.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A dark brown porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, bitter chocolate with good coffee grind, coffee extract, herbaceous character, very nice. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with coffee grind, grassy hops, nice and smooth. Bottle at Spinrsx tasting.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle share. Aroma is straight coffee. Appearance is a dark brown with some nice, tan lacing. Taste is dark coffee with plenty of dry bitterness. Palate is dark and dry. Overall, the label is not lying. This is a very coffee beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a near black color with a moderate tan head on it. Nose is heavily coffee laden, and I really want to drink this beer in the morning. Taste is a little bitter, and reminds me much more of a black coffee (cough espresso cough) than beer. Tasty as all hell, though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Pours a dark brown color with a large beige head. A massive coffee nose. The flavor is big coffee, milky, metal, nutty, medium roast. Massive coffee.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a bomber. A beautiful acidic, bitter cup of espresso with cacao nibs. This thing looks gorgeous, a weighty, pitch black stout, off white head, just lovely. A nice bitter, chocolatey, roasty aroma coming off the glass. A little oily on the palate, which I like. Ends like more of an acidic roast. One of my favorite coffee stout offerings and one of my favorites from this brewery.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
a fresh 22oz bomber served in a tulip - Pours a deep brown with a tan head. Iced toddy and bakers chocolate for aroma and flavor. The thin body of this stout almost makes it drink even more like a delicious cup of coffee. Portland Roast has a slightly acidic yet roasty finish and is a seasonal favorite.
