22oz bottle from bottle trek. This is one of those tasty inoffensive porters that you can’t really give a bad score, not really complicated. Sweet toffee and chocolate, molasses and some late toastiness, pretty tasty, soft and smooth.

Black colored brew. Bittersweet, roasted malty aroma of coffee and chocolate. Nice bittersweetness, roasted, chocolate. Nice.

Aug 5, 2008 Draught. Poured deep red brown with thick head. Aroma of malt and chocolate. Roast malt, toffee and chocolate in flavour, full and balanced. Bit of hop in the dry finish. A lekker porter.

Jul 21, 2008 Draft. A deep red beer with a thin rim of tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as a light touch of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel as well as a light touch of roasted malt, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Jul 3, 2008 12oz bonus from a trade, great name. Shared with my gf Cyn. Pours black with a puffy tan head. Nose is slightly sweet with a bit of a hopped nose. Taste is sweet, and really pretty nice. Can’t say I know what to think of this and its pretty sweet and thing but nicely thin. Strangely good.
