A nice porter, thought a bit on the hoppy side for the style. Fairly dark brown, decent head and lacing. Roasty flavor, but lots of hops in here too. NIce.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty bittersweet chocolate finish.

[Bottle] shared by skyview. Pours a clear dark brown with a moderate tan head. Very nice nose of bittersweet chocolate, sweet malt, and roasted malts. Flavor is bitter cocoa, a touch of whisky, and a touch chalky.

22oz Bottle Pours out a dark brown topped with a tan head. A nice aroma of malts and some sweetness. Tast more of the sweet roast. A very tasty brew.

Smooth pour reveals a creamy raisiny rummy head atop a dark body. Muted nose with slight chocolate notes popping out. All the usual flavour suspects are present and accounted for here: chocolate, malts, roasted barley; with an especially dry finish. As a Porter, it gets the job done; as a truly outstanding brew, she’s not there yet. Not one of the greats, but pretty damn good.
