Brewmaster Vasili asked his brewers to come up with a beer inspired by fall, and this is the result: a malty backbone dominates this beer. Wheat, Oats, corn and rye as well as 100# of jerrahdale squash give this beer hearty earthy flavors, while a hint of ginger plays well with Upright Brewery’s house yeast, lending subtle farmhouse flavors. Lightly hopped with Northern Brewer and Liberty hops, this complex brown ale would make a pontificating pilgrim piously ponder proudly at its bounty. Enjoy!

Draft @ PDX. Clear brown with a small beige head. Aroma of ginger, clove, biscuit dough and herbal tea. Flavor is zesty spice, nutty brown malt and very light hop bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation. Lots of ginger in this one, too much if you ask me.
