COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich Coffee and chocolate flavors dominate this opaque working class Ale. Stout’s extreme popularity among the British factory workers of the 1800’s may qualify it as the fuel for the Industrial Revolution. "By the time you get it, you’re too far out."

Had on tap at the SE Brewpub. Aroma is roasty and malty with hints of coffee. Flavor is a great match of roasty and burnt flavors and has a ever so slight sweetness to it. Overall this is a great beer, very balanced and easy drinking.

Taste comprises bitter roast, chocolate, molasses, sugars. Medium bodied with soft carnonation, smooth on the palate lending towards bitter roast in the finish. A decent cask conditioned stout.
