Pours a dark orange with a slight red tint. With a thick creamy head with good lacing. Smells of cinnamon, pumpkin, nutmeg and ginger. Tastes of all the same things but the roasted pumpkin flavor shines through and is slightly hoppy. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with medium carbonation and a semi dry finish. Overall this as a pumpkin ale that you can actually taste the pumpkin more than the spices which is kind of nice for a change.

Bomber. Rusted orange and amber colored in appearance with beige foam. Aroma is a blend of pumpkin puree, nutmeg and allspice with a fair amount of caramel malt around the edges. The taste is roasted pumpkin, caramel and toasted malts upfront followed by notes of cinnamon, ginger, brown sugar and hops bitterness. The body is moderately creamy with medium carbonation and a spiced, malty finish. Overall, the malt and hops are a little more prominent than usual for the style but itís still a respectable pumpkin brew.

a nice aroma with the array consistent with the style. There is nice light pumpkin flavors, ginger, cinnamon and all spice. The taste is a little light with the aroma continuing through and some sweetness and too much hop. The finish is way to hoppy for the style and it hides all the pumpkin aspects.

On tap at the Publican. Pours a dark amber. Smell is faint pumpkin spices. Taste is a bit more hoppy than the classic pumpkin beer, regular pumpkin spices are hidden behind the hop presence. Itís less sweet but more drinkable than most. Pretty good beer.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours ruddy copper with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of mild roast malt and a little bit of spice. Med minus body. Flavor is typical pie spice. And I think they put more than a little spice in this. Iím never sure if Iím tasting squash. Iím not all that fond of squash. But pie spice is pretty good. Cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice (what sort of misnomer is that?) is pretty good. Said that already.

Orange amber in color, thin head and slight haze. Light spice, nutmeg and cinnamon aroma. Light slick flavor from the pumpkin added. This was a easy tasting pumpkin brew. Very nice and tasty.

Poured a dark amber color with a thick soapy head, from a 22oz bottle. Small flakes of malt poured into the glass which were suspended by the carbonation. Like another review says, I wouldnít place this is a pumpkin ale, but rather some type of seasonal spicy ale. Even though I was hoping for a pumpkin flavor, I am not disappointed. This is a rather tasty brew. I did a side by side comparison to identify the aroma, the result: brown sugar. It feels excellent in the mouth...ummm....I mean the palate is very good. The aroma leads to a spicy, but not too spicy, just the right amount of spice taste. Ausgezeichnet Laurelwood.

Bottle: The aroma consists of clove, cinnamon, and a touch of caramel. While the aroma is pleasant and consists of some pumpkin pie spices, I canít say it reminds me of pumpkin pie. Iím not going to knock it for that..."Iím just sayin." It pours a bright transparent amber with a two finger creamy beige head with pretty good retention. The flavor starts with some muted caramel. The finish has a some clove, ginger, light cinnamon, and a touch of fruit. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Overall, if I was given this blind, I would be to say it was some sort of spiced beer. While I wouldnít pinpoint it as a Pumpkin Ale, I wouldnít argue once I was told it was.

Red/brown/orange with some soapy bubbly white head. The nose is almost entirely spice with a little more clove than I really like in my pumpkin beers, it always comes over a little metallic for me. Its better in the mouth with plenty of biscuitty sweetness and plump pumpkin flavour. That darned clove still hovers there but a little extra cinnamon and hints of vanilla dull it somewhat. The carbonation is a little rough and grates slightly. Iíll drink it but I think there are plenty of better pumpkin ales out there.
