3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a transparent dark copper amber with a thin, clingy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet toasty dark caramel malt and resiny grapefruity hops. Body starts with average fullness and a sweet toasty caramel maltiness with a touch of light fruits before a drier, more bitter peppery finish. Has a decent hop profile, but could use more body.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Mix of mild caramel malts, a little spice and solid bitterness. A little fruity. Honestly, just kind of an odd mix that doesn’t really work for me.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mahogany color with a tan head. Nice lacing. Sweet, malty aroma with hints of toffee and cocoa. Easy to drink. Nice balance of malt and flavorful, but not bitter, hops. A good beer but for a winter seasonal I would have liked a richer malt backbone with a little more mouthfeel.

Strong malty profile that is rich and roasted. Deep nuttiness with toffee and caramel backbone. Light spice notes that seem independent of the hop presence.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pretty dark. Lots of aroma. Little dryish palate. Some roastiness but overall pretty hoppy. Sort of a weird but not offensivre flavor in here that I can’t put my finger on. Pretty good but probably won’t pay to be shipped in again.
