On tap at PDX airport. Pours amber with small tan head. Darker than expected. Aroma is fruity hops, oily mouthfeel. 80 ibus makes it a great session ipa. Delicious fruit and citrus in this one.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2011 A pretty typical NW IPA. Not big on aroma but makes up for it in taste. Lots of citrus and floral hops. well balanced with sweetness. Love the 7.5% abv. All in all a good IPA.

Big thanks to DiabolikDUB for hooking me up with some of this. A: Pours a nice, somewhat hazy orange-apricot with a nice white head with some staying power. S: Plenty of citrus rind along with some pine and floral hops in the background. A bit of caramel malt lends some balance in the background. T: Nice and citrusy and a bit bitter, but not at all overwhelming so. Iíd say itís toward the tamer end of West Coast IPAs. The citrus characteristics lend themselves well to the bitterness, while still having caramel flavors in the background, although none of them are particularly sweet. M: Medium body, good carbonation, and a nice dryness. D: Very drinkable. Great sessionable (at least in terms of flavor, that is) IPA. Always love liking new things from breweries I hadnít heard much of in the past. Thanks again, Tom. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 05-23-2010

Yum....gorgeous amber color with a big head for an IPA, still very miniscule. Amazing aromatics, starts floral and rapidly moves on to honey with a bit of chimayo chile powder. Terrific balance...brings the hops but rounds it out with some malty sweetness AND body. Itís got the grapefruit but this isnít sucking on a yellow pith, itís the ripe pink flesh with a hit of rind as you scrape it out of a split one at the breakfast table. Very pleasantly suprised with this one and favorite against Diamond Knot IPA and Rogue Yellow Snow in a small tasting.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit and pine aroma with light earth. Grapefruit and pine flavor with light caramel backing. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger with light caramel.

22oz bottle from Bottleworks. Amazingly fresh, vibrant, spicy and citrus-heavy dank hop cones in the nose. Prickly, juicy lime and agave flavored hop cones, dank cannabis and bitter grapefruit throughout. Moderately thick texture, spicy, puckering and peppery on the palate... appropriately bitter. Delicious.

Nose of citrus hops - a good deal of grapefruit followed by some floral notes as well as pine. Malt base has light caramel sweetness with mostly toast. Amber golden pour, frothy head and sticky lace. The flavor is mostly toasted malts with very light caramel sweetness. Assertive citrus and floral notes - grapefruit mostly. Nice and hoppy, good bitterness and solid dry resiny finish. Really drinkable and very good.

A: The pour is a nice copper-ish color with a big white head and lots of streaks of white lacing. S: The nose is wonderfully fresh and intensely hopped. Lots of grapefruit, pine, and floral aromas that work well together. I donít note any malt at all, just the way I like my IPAs. T: A really well balanced bitterness that compliments the grapefruit, tangerine, and floral flavors. This is just so smooth in terms of the flavor profile. M: The body is medium with a crisp carbonation and a really refreshing feel overall. D: I would gladly take another of these any day. A really great IPA (bordering on a DIPA).
