Balanced hop aroma, citrus and pine. Clear golden amber with barest head (on tap at original brewpub.) cold and crisp. in flavor, again, the balance, a couple moments of almost harshness, no alcohol presence, solid and crisp.

Growler from brewpub - I expected a lot more aroma from a beer with this high of an IBU. Pours a nice golden color with a perfect frothy 1" head. Has a very distinctive IPA flavor. Kind of what Iíd expect from Laurelwood. Overall, itís a very nice IPA.

Draft at brewery: Poured medium amber with slowly dissipating head, floral and citrus overpower any underlying notes. Medium mouth feel brings out malt profile of caramel and cascade hops, finishes decently with well rounded bitterness and little alcohol taste. A very good IPA.

From a mason jar 1 day old from the brewery...big thanks to Jeff! Hazy dark golden amber with big head. Freaking wonderful nug & citrus aroma. Did someone just smoke a j, or is that just my beer? The hops are perfect; citrus, pine and nugs. Just enough lightly sweet caramel malts bring it all together and keeps the bitterness in check well. At 7.5%, itís got just enough of everything to really shine. Love it. Not sure what you could do to improve much on this...from a hop-heads perspective anyways.

Draft / Light hazy golden amber with a generous white head. Aroma is bright citrus hops, and sweetness. Flavor is citrus and pine with enough malt to balance. One of my favorite local beers and a stand by when we need a keg for a party.

On tap at Laurelwood Public House. Pours mostly clear bubbly orange amber with a nice lingering off-white head. Aroma is mostly citrus hops, along with roses, pine, and caramel. Taste is much the same, with a very nice caramel malt balance. Smooth with a citrus hop finish.

Tap@Brewpub. Heavy grassy aromaís. Hazy, light amber colour, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, very bitter, lots of hop, grassy. Smooth. American style hopped but not over the edge, great balance.

On tap from Laurelwood NW Public House. This beer is exactly what Iím looking for out of an IPA. Appearance = Orangish Gold with a little bit of haze. Smell = Fresh Citrus hops, tangy, with a touch of pine. Taste = Citrus flavors upfront (deliciously tangy), slight grapefruit, with a pleasant lasting bitterness. Mouthfeel = Medium-Bodied and slightly slick. Overall = extremely solid beer, would take this over most DIPAís if Iím in the hop mood.
