Sample courtesy of Blazer06. Pours clear copper with off white head. The aroma is grapefruit citrus hops, spicy hops and earthiness as well as malt sweetness in the background. The taste is similar with a pleasing rich grapefruit, spice and earthy hoppiness to go along with a mild supporting structure of malt sweetness. Pretty nice brew with plenty of bitter hops.

orange, off-white head. Nice and lasting piney hop nose and palate with some tropical elements and other grapefruits and bitter citrus. Enough dark roasted malts with nice caramel robe adding a touch of a more cereal touch. Finish is on the dry side bitter side though keeping the right balance of malts.

Expressive IPA aroma that attacks the nostrils with a flurry of citrus, pine, and floral components with a strong sweet scent. Immediate introduction of a lightly toasted dry malt backbone. Strong citrus fruit pulp flavor with a slightly wooden note and some dry hay. Oily and resinous. Heavy yet blunted hop sting at the end with a strong fresh cut lemongrass kick.

Thanks to the Tampa Crew for sharing this one. Pours clear orange with an off-white head. Nose is malt, slight butterscotch, sugar sweetness, and some hops. Flavor is malt, some peach, butterscotch, and grapefruit hops. Finish lingers with somewhat abrasive grapefruit hops.

Love this IPA. Big citrus pineapple nose, juicy and tempting, standing just short of a resin monster. Sunny orange gold, thick white head. Maybe itís a 1.5 IPA. Big body, concentrated pineapple and apricot nectar base, scrubbed down from these aggressive and intense hop additions....though not in the sensory overloading way of a double, just a bright appreciation within the style and flirts with the edge. Beautifully made.

Bomber from Belmont Station. Copper/light amber color with a lasting off white head and good clarity/ The aroma isnít the most hoppy but is sure interesting. Sweet toasty, light bready and caramel malt combine with some piney and floral hops, sweet plum jam and spiced fruit cake. Medium bodied and smooth. Sweet and not really hoppy enough. Not oxidized, but I canít help but think that this has suffered the bottling/distribution process. A big beer that just needs punchier hops to excel.

Clear amber color/ off white head. Pungent floral, grassy hop aromas. light to medium bodied. Good floral, pine hoppy flavors on a solid honey biscuit malty base. @ Tap House Grill IPA Fest.

West USA trip 2010. On tap @ PIB. The aroma has fruity hops. Clear, copper-golden beer with an off-white, lasting head. The taste is bitter, bit sweet and very fruity hoppy with peach and citrus.

10 ounce sample on tap at Laurelwood NW Public House. Aroma is sweet, citrus-like, and quite similar to the Hop Monkey. There is a little more floral character to this, as well as a little bit of hempiness. Transparent golden orange body with a small bubbly white head and good lacing. Has a slight sweet start, which becomes rather spicy and herbal in the middle. A little onion and a small amount of toastiness. FInishes dry with a touch of ethanol. Feels more balanced than Hop Monkey, but the spicy astringency is a little weird.

Draught at brewpub. Best of the bunch that day. Serious West Coast hop profile. Lovely taste. Citrus. Nice.
