3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft - Fresh hop version - Light citrus sweetness. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Leafy, grassy, sweet and a bit of an herbal note. Sweet grass sticks a bit too much.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Clear deeper orange copper, firm off-white foam. Aroma of richer c-malt and fruity hop. Taste is too sweet, dark caramel malt forward, barely bitter fruity hop, some citrus and herb. Average carbonation, medium bodied, well hopped. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
16 oz pint- Pours clear orange with a white small head. Aroma is sweet malt, some hops, pretty generic. Taste is sweet malt, dry buttering hops, pretty average. Not bad but straight down the line basic.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft pour pint at the safe. Pours a clear copper color with a lasting fizz head. Rich sweet tropical fruit hop aroma and flavor. Almost has a little pineapple thrown in there. Orange fruit. A little sweet for my usual taste but overall an enjoyable, solid IPA.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2015 Bottle from Craft Beer Base.
L: pours a clear copper with two fingers of light foamy head, tonnes of lacing.
S: a big fruity floral punch leaps out, some pine, like other well-known west coast IPAs.
T: delicious. A lot of grapefruit, other citrus and tropical flavours, a little pine.
F: very easy drinking, nice mouthfeel and bittnerness. Actually a touch watery for the ABV. Medium-bodied.
O: really took me by surprise, right up there with the best. Could be bolder at 7.5%, but I’m nitpicking.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours golden with a thick off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a rich pale malt flavor with a very bitter finish.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This one just became available in bc. About bloody time! Poured from a bomber into a pint glass. Beautiful copper without a ton of head (did pour it pretty gently) but on the re up a more aggressive pour left me with a couple inches of Bright citrusy aroma, blood orange to go with some great piney hop. Beautiful balance in the flavour. A ton of bitterness immediately offset with some sweet almost butterscotch malt flavour. Not a palate destroyer at all and could be dangerously slideable at 7.5 percent. Loved it. Between powell’s bookstore and the incredible beer how do you Portland folk get anything done? Lucky bastards.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle thanks to VanJamer @ BA, thanks Jamie! No date on the bottle so presumably not so fresh. Pours a clear copper with a medium off-white head that leaves pretty good lacing. Nose is of resinous hops and fruits. Taste is moderately and gives out flavors of fruits again, resin and some butterscotch impressions. Bitterness is moderately high. Body is medium, carbonation moderately high and mouthfeel is slightly oily. Overall an OK IPA but far from best in style. I might have been spoiled, though. ;)

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a small white frothy head atop a deep orange clouded body. Nose of Seville oranges and sweet malt. Rather robust with a good malt base, not overly warming or sickly. This feels more drinkable and less of a headache waiting to happen beer. I’d try this again. Purchased at Liquor Planet in Langford.
