The Lausitzer yeast wheat beer is the first beer in the Lausitz brewed wheat beer line. Brewed strictly after the German purity requirement with fine flavour of hopz and original Saxonian malts. The yeast naturally left in the beer gives it characteristics typical of wheat speciality beers, yeast-cloudy and gold-yellow colour. The rising popularity of this beer is on the high portion of carbonic acid; the one erfrischende and bekoemmliche effect has, to lead back. Try it at sunny temperatures with a drinking temperature from 5 to 10°C!

Draught. Solid German Hefeweizen. Hazy orange with solid white head. Mainly bananas and clove, some citrus in the back. Light body, great creamy texture, high carbonation, fruity finish. Simple and well done.

Bottle. Hazy straw, thick, creamy head, the latter unfortunately disappeared quite quickly. Aroma of ripe bananas, some clover. Taste smooth, slightly sour, thick, carbonation medium, bitterness unimportant but present. Aftertaste overripe bananas, a little clover. A very nice hefeweizen.

Aroma: strong; wheat, a bit of citrus, a bit of honey, a little bit of cloves, and a little bit of malt. Appearance: fairly light brown; hazy; head large, not terribly stable. Taste: more sour than bitter, just a little sweet. Palate: body medium; carbonation above average; mouth feel spicy; finish slightly sweet, short, a little spicy. Overall: not very prototypical but rather enjoyable; refreshing, without bluntness; as good on a hot day after exercise as on a cool evening in a pub.

Sehr ordentliches Weizenbier Eine Spur herber im Abgang als so manches Bayrische Schöne Schaumkrone ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly banana and estery nose. The mouth feels watery and not really balanced, but lots of bananas and cloves in the mouth. OK.

Danke an WillemsUrenkel für das Bier. Geruch Hefe und Banane, etwas vergoren. Start hefig, bananig. Weiterhin bananig bestimmter Verlauf. Fruchtig, hefiger Abschluß. Unspektakulär, aber ok.

0,5 l bottle. Murky pale orange in the glass, small head for a Weizen. Low wheat and yeast on the nose. Starts not very sweet, low banana, clove, yeasty, with suprising bitterness. Later more sweet fruity. Not a typical Hefeweizen, unique, but not more than average.
