0.5L bottle. Very thin white head, dark brown/reddish color. Very low carbonation. Very sweet (too sweet for me) caramel taste, malty, no bitterness at all. Nothing I would drink again.

The aromas and flavour are most reminiscent of Frosted Shreddies breakfast cereal. Full of super sweet molasses tough a little thin in the mouth.

Aroma: Over-ripe cherries, yeast, seafoam. They don’t work well together. Taste: Very sweet from beginning to end, complemented by cola. There is simply not much going on here but sweetness....the faintest hint of peach on the finish. Well if you want a glass of light fruit juice then open one of these up! Big disapointment.

Bottle at Aufsturz, Berlin, 21 March 2009. Not very dark. Chestnut colour. Weird stuff. Hardly a porter in any sense I would recognize. Rather too sweet with not much body. Hints of licorice but rather confected with something of a fizzy soft drink feel - not quite Pepsi but something in that vicinity. Sometimes I like weird. On this occasion I just found it rather hard going and borderline unpleasant.

Bottle. Pours a pitted, rocky, beige head. Clear, cola colored body. Super sweet caramel malt and light herbal hop aroma. Ultra sweet flavor. Sugar, cotton candy, cheap chocolate and some metal. Oily, medium body with low carbonation. Lingering, sickly sweet finish. This beer is a train wreck.

500ml bottle. Deep, ruddy brown with a contrasting, tight white head. Sweet caramel and red fruit aroma, with some burnt sugar. Very sweet, almost cola-like flavour, with a syrupy finish. Tailed off badly.
