COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Even in 1895, Porter was brewed from the mountain spring in Löbau, and it was a beloved drink in the Lausitz. With our Lausitzer Porter, we successfully continue this brewing tradition. Across the land, the legendarily sweet taste of this unique dark beer has found friends among connoisseurs of dark brews.

The owner of a local store suggested me to try this. He only orders one beer crate for a single regulary, but received two this week. While pouring it into the glass I was quite excited from the nice look and the smell. The first swig was okay. The taste is VERY malty and sweet ... too sweet for my taste on the second swig.

The beer looks like cola, the color is dark brown and the foam is a little of white and comes in a small quantity. For a beer that has Porter on the label in a huge font, I expect to have a nice beer filled with roasted barley and dark bitter aroma’s. This is the opposite. The smell has metal in it and is a little by to sweet. There is a malty bready bitterness, not very nice. The beer misses a mouth sensation. It is really flat, way to little gas. The taste is bad. To sweet and bready. It reminds me a lot of the Oettinger Malz from earlier today. Just like that beer, this one is going down the drain instead of down the throat.

Bottle. Dark red to brown, clear, with white head that quickly disappears. Aroma of rice bread, with roasted notes. Taste is sweet, and nothing more. Awful beer (if it can be called a beer).

Flasche („Lausitzer Porter“, 50 cl) aus einem Berliner Edeka-Markt. - Tiefes Rotbraun, klar; rasch schwindender Schaum.

Bottle, Chester Beer & Wine. Bottled. Dark mahogany pour, meek bubbly tan head. Veg on the turn in the beak .Super sweet flavour with more rank veg and a bit of roast. The stats don’t lie, this was bloody awful.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours black brown with light tan froth. So, so sweet and malty. Tastes like a malty sweet altbier. Car crash.

Prezentacja: bardzo ciemne, przejrzyste, piana obfita, ale szybciutko znika, brak lacingu ;
Aromat: nikły, spalenizna, leciutko nuty rumowe i rodzynki ;
Smak: bardzo bardzo słodkie, orzechowe, cola, migdały ;
Odczucie: pełne, gładkie , nisko nasycone, leciutki orzechowy finisz ;
Ogólnie: żeby aromat i posmak był mocniejszy .
