Furseth (1189), Kungälv, Sweden Aug 11, 2008 Bottle: at the label: Weisse Perle Hefe-Weizen: Hazy yellow colour, with a nice creamy white head. Aroma of citrus, yeasty, fruity nose. Aroma was almost the smae, but has a cremay, smoouth mouth feeling, sweet was it too!! This was a werry good Hefe Weizen! Thin body, thin to medium fruity finish. MoritzF (4019), Ruhrpott, Germany Sep 22, 2006 (bottle, handed over as a gift from pivnizub) Cloudy orange colourred effervescent hue with a mid-sized, non-persistent foamy white head. Yeasty citrousy aroma, slightly wheaty and clovy. Slightly sweet wheat-malty and citrus-fruity taste, slim bodied, smooth mouthfeel; short and slightly fruity and clovy finish. Fairly thin and less than decent Hefeweizen. pivnizub (4007), Porúří, Germany Sep 19, 2006 Bottle: Pale golden coloured, almost clear, slightly hazy, thin, white foamy layer; fruity grainy nose (bananas, wheat), sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness; sweet-grainy, delicate fruity finish with "the faintest illusion of tartness". A very average Weizen.....not really unpleasant, though. YogiBeera (2404), Hamburg, Germany Aug 1, 2004 Hazy orange, kind of greenish color. Fizzy medium head and carbonation. Acidic nose, weak watery lemon juice taste. Bad for a Hefe Weizen.
