Deep dark amber colored, cloudy appearance. Rich aroma, vinous aroma with nuts and chocolate, mild alcohol also present, rich aroma indeed. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is more dry-nutty with still sweet chocolate, aftertaste turns to vinous note with still nuts and mild alcohol, somehow cardboardy note, still excellent one.

The bottle looks good, a little bit complex. The beer in the glass is very dark, malty and sweet aroma. The beer starts strong, but not as strong as exspected. Very oily. A modest finish, nothing special. Nevertheless a very good doppelbock.

Moderate malty aroma. Creamy off-white initial apperance. Good lacing. Mostly lasting longevity. Clear amber body. Light bitter initial flavor with a tast of milk chocolate. Medium to full palate, and creamy texture.
