A very tasty, aromatic Helles.......... MoritzF (4019), Ruhrpott, Germany Nov 22, 2006 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet, slightly buttery malty aroma with spicy, herbal hops. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Malt-accented taste, slightly grainy and buttery with almost Bohemian attributes; dry-ish, slightly bitter with herbal, slightly floral hops. Surprisingly quaffable brew from a brewery whose brews I haven’t been satisfied with so far. Blindfolded I would have guessed this was a decent Bohemian Pilsener. pubbe (493), Højbjerg, Denmark Nov 18, 2006 Bottle. Dark golden brown. Off-white mostly lasting head. Heavily malted aroma. Malt and hops in the flavor suplemented with a little fruity note. Average finish. MiP (6337), Flensburg, Germany Nov 9, 2006 Bottle5.5%. Sweet, fruity, dusty aroma. Golden colour, small white head.
