Many thanks to Jasenko I for bringing the bottle from Bosnia!

500ml can, Serbia. Very nice long lasting foam, normal Co2. It’s red-brown colour and a good coffee, and caramel smell. The beer taste is rather dried plum with some smoke aftertaste. Altogether it is a good beer for the price!

Can. Dark brown with a frothy but quite quickly dissipating head. Heavy aroma of roasted malt, hops and some juniper. Felt quite heavy on the palate, slightly earthy, roasted taste finished by a high but short roasted-hoppy bitterness. I like my dunkels more subtle.

21/01 0.33 l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks for sharing! It poured clear, dark red body with brownish head. Roasted malt, specifically caramel, sugar and coffee in aroma. Flavor was interesting, yet common for dunkels, caramel sweetish almost subdued with coffee. It gives a bit harsh and crude finish over its medium body, but still predominately sweet in caramel way. Not bad for a macro.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko (thanks), shared with heavy.
Amber/brown coloured, small off-white head, sugary nose. Slight roasted malt, caramel and very watery with metallic notes in the finish. Nothing more nothing less than drinkable.

Canned. Red-brown color. Grainy aroma, something like milk also. Taste of roasted malts with coffee tones. Metallic co-taste. Short finish. Not bad.

Bottled, from Belgrade. Near black, small head. Licorice aroma. Sweet and fruity with slight notes of boiled vegetables. Medium bodied with clean, somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Some grainy licorice, rather sharp finish. Unrefined, but not bad.

Draught at the Klub Optimist, Beograd. Poured a dark dark amber-red body with a small rocky head. Malty acidic nose, a bit creamy. Watery malty taste, bitterness, raisins, acidity, metallic, roasty, creamy all of that at short intervals and in the end boring, but hey, a step in the right direction for the country.

Draft, bottled and canned. ABV is 6,2%. Reddish brown color, caramel and coffee aromas traceable from time to time, more so in the draft version. The main problem of this beer becomes apparent right away - it’s way to thin and watery. After that comes the metallic / sour aftertaste, which is also unpleasant. Considering it’s taste and alcohol level, this beer seems like a ripoff of Nikšićko Tamno, the other widely available Dunkel in Serbia. Weak beer for this style but still nice that a macro like Carlsberg Serbia finally introduced something that’s not a Pale lager.

Mysterious appearance at Black Turtle Pub in Belgrade, Serbia. Confirmations from the pub on the origin and name of the beer but otherwise no info anywhere. .5l draft, dark brown ale-like pour. Body is quite light and sour like their normal macro lager. Not too much by way of body or taste like other dark beers, in this region or otherwise. A bit ruby red and amber in appearance underneath a mild foam head. Real odd, but not horrible.
