Bottled. Cloudy pale golden, no head. Aroma of grape tonic. Mid sweet with clean mouthfeel. Grape tonic and sprite hides potential flaws. No bitterness. Just lemonade.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
19/08 0.33 l bottle from a messy but good store Marko mentions. Lemony and grass notes. Lemon peel flavor, some artificial sweetener added, all is quite weak and watery anyway. Shorter, slightly sweet and ugly bitter finish. I didnít really like it, market is overwhelmed now with better ones.

Can at the strange store between the railway and the Sava river
Yellow I guess, producing a fine lemony nose, with some similarities to the Pan version. The taste is a bit more balanced than that one, lighter, but less sweet. One nice radler.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Found a pile of .5l cans of Lav Twist in Belgrade after íasíís groundwork. Strong beer to stand up to Jelenís Twist, two proxy fights. I think Iíll take the Lav, it is a litle less sweet and a nicer mechanical lime flavor (cause face it, theyíre both not exactly natural). Sticky sweet through finish which is fine, overall. I donít mind this. Though I still donít get the point of the style is.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
0,33 l bottle. A few days after Jelen Fresh Limun hit the shelves, Carlsberg Serbia, the "other" macro in Serbia, launched their Radler. Some heavy industrial espionage going on :-) Although this beer is very similar to Jelen Fresh Limun, some differences exist, mainly in the palate, which is much more watery and the overall taste which is way sweeter then in the aforementioned brew. Also, the aftertaste lacks that sharp chemical flavors found in Jelenís fruit beer. The people at Apatinska Pivara tried a bit harder to make something interesting, but, if I had to choose, I would still prefer Lav Twist over Jelen Fresh Limun. And, Carlsberg Serbia, please start copying something good from your Croatian counterpart...
