2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20 Beerenberger (791) - Fischer, Texas, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Fragrance of malt with a hint of brown sugar/ molasses. Pours an amber with a none lasting white head and no lacing. The taste is malty with a grainy finish. Not heavy on the bitter aspect. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, enjoyable but may not be the best example of an ESB.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 mcnealc31 (220) - Elida, Ohio, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Pours a cloudy orange with a fluffy ecru head. Crisp, clean flavors of caramel, grassy hops, even a bit of apple. Very earthy and, well, organic.
It doesn’t exactly have big, bold flavors, but it’s not bad. At 5% ABV, this would be a very nice lawn mower beer. Or a gateway into craft beer for the uninitiated.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 BillKismet (3000) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 27, 2013
Bronze body, decent head. Light crystal malt graininess. Muted hop and a bit metallic odor. Rather bland body. It has a light grain body and very muted hoppyness. Slightly tannic cereal grain finish, perhaps a touch of cardboard and soap.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 mansquito (2504) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Whole Foods, Bowery 11.2oz ($3): Pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is toffee, slight lemony citrus, and some doughy like stuff. Taste is slightly sour, with a sustained bitterness throughout. Pretty easy to drink, but I think the body is actually lacking. I think it could have been a bit heavier and better. Seems like a half-assed beer... thought the lager was better.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 DavidWoodruff (239) - Windsor, California, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Pours a brilliant deep gold with a thick, luxurious white head. Little aroma - just a touch of toasty malt. slightly nutty flavor. Hops only come to play in the dry, somewhat bitter finish. Very drinkable if, perhaps, forgettable.
