Bottle. Cloudy amber pour with white head that quickly disappeared. Spice, apple, hop, bread, medicine and a bit of grape. A nice medium body ale with nice creamy bubbles and smooth finish. Really nice.

If your daughter is getting married and she was an accident you don't love, serve this at her wedding.

11.2oz bottle 3/15/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-40° in English Pint-Pours a cloudy amber with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel, taffy apple, and malt. Taste of the same with some sweetness thrown in. This light to medium bodied brew has a different taste but still rather tasty.

From a 33 cl bottle. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. White bread toast nose. Goes down pretty well.

Gourmet Burger branded bottle. Dark gold with a white froth. Nose is bitter lemons, grapefruit. Taste is lemons, a sweet malt cutting through and a weak, but bitter finish. Nothing to rave about, but nothing to spit out either. I was expecting worse.

Had as ’Gourmet Burger Kitchen Organic Pale Ale’ - I assume it’s the same stuff. Drinkable but pretty boring attempt at the style with feint hints of hop, yeast and orange.

Poured from a bottle. Clear golden color. Nice full white frothy head. Yeast and dough like smell. Slight bitter bread like flavor with a hops and malt character. Not very good.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Gusher! It had been sitting quietly for ages too, all over the kitchen. Came out a sort of middle amber colour, rocky white head. Despite gusher status actually tasted quite flat. A kind of blandish English bitter, a hint of the homebrew about it. Guessing it was a bit infected, but I’d be surprised if I bother trying it again to check.

Bottle. Pretty average-looking amber beer, with an average to thin head. The aroma is musty, sweet and mashy. Despite the somewhat off-putting initial impression, this drinks fiarly well ... firm, if a bit wet, malty character overall, with a little musty finish. (#5088, 7/1/2013)

Tart cherry and dry fruit with an earthy hop scent. Off white foamy head orange slight yellow body. Sweet kinda tart dry berry and slight hoppy mild rooty taste. Slight tart crisp and wet on the palate.

The only draw here is if you’re looking for an organic beer because other than that it’s pretty generic. Some malt, lightly bitter finish. Meh.
