COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We have collected and grown old traditional hop varieties and selected the best combination of these for their aroma, and balanced them with additional organically grown hops, in this, our first beer. Although we farm under both biodynamic and organic standards, we go much further in our quest to produce the very best hops and barley. Our micro-biology lab continuously tests the soils, adding compost and compost teas so that the biology in the soil has the right proportions of beneficial bacteria and fungi for the hops and barley to be at their best and most flavoursome. This creates the deep flavours of the beer.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours almost clear yellow with a small whitish head. Aroma of bread, citrus, and hay. The taste is pretty bland; just some bready malt with a hint of bittering hops. Light bodied and slightly dry. Plain, but nothing wrong with it.

Pale, hazy, golden color. Holds a thin, pure white head. Has a nice, crisp aroma of fresh but grain. Flavor is grassy and malty sweet with a hop bitterness that overpowers the malt. Nice lager character. Crisp and refreshing but finishes a little sweet.

Bottle with Andrew. Pours a clear golden body with white head. Aroma is grains, sweet malts and light grass. Mouthfeel is light with notes of grain, biscuity malts, grass, light pee, and bitter floralness.

Martin243 (742) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2012
2 bottles for £2 at Waitrose, so worth a go. 330ml bottle served cold from the fridge in a chalice. Pours brilliantly clear light gold, with a white haed that disappated to leave lacing around the glass. The aroma is floral/citrus, as are the flavours, with a bit of added fruitness. I detect apricot marmalade sweetness balanced by hop bitterness. Medium bodied, somewhat creamy palate. Nice, unchallenging in a positive sense, good summer session lager. A bit gassy mind, but nice burps!

Pailhead (4622) - Brownstown, Michigan, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Bottle: The aroma consists of light-moderate grass, light grain, and a hint of lemon. It pours a transparent gold with a one finger white head that quickly fades to a thin film that leaves behind some sporadic webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a light dose of sweet grains. The finish is moderate grass and floral bitterness. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Gold with a white head. Nose is light skunk, grain, malts, and crisp. Very smooth on the palate, sweet malts, easy finish, not much here.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with white soapy head. Aroma of grass, grain, malt, hints of floral. Flavor is much the same with a nice malt back bone and very balanced. Mouth feel is light-medium body with high carbonation. Overall, not bad at all but over priced at $12.99 per 4 pk.

The aroma is a mix of grassy and grainy elements. The flavor is flavor is similar to the aroma and very beery, with a decent hoppiness in the finish.

Leighton (10512) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2012
Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, light yellow with a small, creamy white head. Some light cereal in the nose with hints of hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with hop bite, mostly of hay with very light metal. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Crisp and refreshing to finish with very mild character. Some light and toasty cereal, biscuits, hay. Very basic overall and somewhat weak in character, but the character that does come through is sound and the beer does refresh.
