Dulachan is an in-your-face/front-and-center/West-Coast-style American IPA. Brewed with Pale, CaraVienna and Biscuit malts and hopped (and dry hopped) to 70 IBUís with Simcoe, Citra, Amarillo & Columbus. Draft at Caponeís. Poured hazy dark straw colored with off-white head. Nose was piney hops, some tangerine, black pepper. Tasted hoppy, piney, peppery, and fruity, with a crisp finish

on tap. Amber in color with a frothy off-white head. Citrus and pine aroma. Bitter flavor, citrus and pine notes with a bit of grass. Light-to-medium bodied with soft carbonation. I enjoyed this.

12 oz. can at Bocktown Robinson. Poured a clear light orange with minimal head. Light grassy flavor with orange and grapefruit citrus. Crisp, piney finish. Thin bodied. Sessionable.

Can. Pours golden yellow with nice white head. Aroma is a mix of pine, citrus, dank hops. Taste is lighter, not as strong as aroma. Second sip is more dank hops. Not bad, just prefer my hops with more citrus.

Blown away. I spent 5 years in Erie waiting to taste a local beer with some flavor. I am glad now that i am gone it has arrived and i only hope it be some of my friends who are on the frontline. Nice hop profile and fresh taste from a can. Impressive.

Can from a locals swap with a great trader. Pours a hazy light copper with a two finger fluffy off white head. Big grapefruit aroma with plenty of toffee malt backing. Flavor is bitter up front with pine and grapefruit, then toffee and caramel malts follow on the palate with the sweetness lingering. Prickly carbonation, slightly dry on the finish. Full of flavor, definitely an easy coast style. Solid brew and my first from Lavery.

The smell and taste of this beer, especially when itís fresh, are literally second-to-none. Thereís an amazing citrus smell, some bite and itís perfect for sunny weather, but Iíll take one any time. Canít wait for next years batch.

12 oz can from The BeerHive in Pittsburgh. Heavy dose of hops without a lot of bitterness. Smooth and enjoyable and probably on the top-shelf of IPAís.

Can. Pours a hazy raw sienna color with a finger or two of thick eggshell foam. Aromas are a bit stale malt, paper, candied citrus and sweet grass. Good mouthfeel with dialed in carbonation... the flavors are just a touch stale and underwhelming, some nice front end citrus that falls off into a caramel malt, cardboard late palate with a bit of grass and rubber burn on the finish. No date on the can but Im assuming it was fresh.
