COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dulachan is an in-your-face/front-and-center/West-Coast-style American IPA. Brewed with Pale, CaraVienna and Biscuit malts and hopped (and dry hopped) to 70 IBU’s with Simcoe, Citra, Amarillo & Columbus. At only 5.6%ABV, this beer packs a huge hop flavor and aroma without a lot of bite from the bitterness and alcohol. Named after the Irish ’Grim Reaper’, this beer will impress and astound!

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours golden, clear with a small white head but lots of carbonation; spotty lacing all over the glass. Aroma of hops, malts and some grain. Taste is quite bitter and hoppy, some malts to compensate, some yeast and some grain in there too. not bad at all great IPA; extremely enjoyable.

Lots of citrus in the nose and taste. Not a lot of hop wallop. Pretty good, Anne liked it. At the brewpub.

Can poured into a shaker. Rating 2700 woot! Pours a slightly cloudy medium orange with a finger of white head. Aroma is huge citrus - orange, grapefruit and some tropical notes. Taste is medium bitter, follows aroma. Full bodied with a somewhat slick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Great beer!

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2015 Draft at brewery and can. This and their Ulster are my two favorite beers. This is a nice brewery. Pours a fairly clear golden yellow with a medium white head. Aromas of biscuit, tons of citrus, pine, and grass. Tastes is grapefruit, orange, lemon zest, bit of breadiness, and pine, resin. Light body and nicely carbed. Very good. Guy at the brewery said this is their last canning until next year since the hops won’t be in season. Glad we scooped some up fresh.

Can. Odd-looking pour ... exceptionally opaque, a very muddy, sedimented rusty orange. Firm pillowy head. The aroma is of sopping-wet hops, like laying in the pine needles after a downpour. This drinks with the same character, musty, almost moldy, heavy and downright chewy. (#5752, 9/30/2014)

8oz pour at Al’s of Hampden pours a clear god with some fizzy, white head. Loads of apparent carbonation. Nose is very classic IPA, lemon pith, orange, mild candy, soap. Flavor is grassy, lemon, soap, pine, mild malt. Crisp finish.
