COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the Irish legend of the Jack O Lantern. Brewed with Pumpkins and Spices. Subtle spicing to make sure you can enjoy more than 1 pint per session. A drier version of your standard Pumpkin ale, ours is not cloyingly sweet. A nice toasty/biscuity flavor from the American pale ale malt, slight hop bitterness from Northern Brewer and our house yeast blend that leaves slightly fruity esters. Formerly known as Lavery Stingy Jack Pumpkin Ale.

on tap at the brewery. Cloudy amber in color with a spare off-white head. Aroma is heavily molasses and spices, smells sweet as hell. Flavor deviates from the aroma, the malt takes the forefront with nice spice notes backing it up. Moderately sweet with a slick texture and soft carbonation. A bit different from an average pumpkin beer, pretty good.

Great pumpkin ale. Smooth, balanced with a slightly sweet finish. More beer and less pumpkin flavor. Quality beer from a great brewer.

Bomber from Capones. Poured a chunky orange brown with a long lasting average sized creamy light beige head. Aroma is a bit weak, notes of pumpkin spice, cinnamon and nutmeg, lots of biscuit and grains. Full body with a creamy overall feel and light to average small bubbly carbonation. Flavor is a step up from the aroma with notes light chocolate, grains, cereal malts, lighter spice than the aroma, pumpkin. Not bad.

Cloudy golden orange pour with a thin off white head ..... aroma of light pumpkin spices, sweet and toasted malts .... taste is earthy with a toasted malt, caramel malts, pumpkin spices and a bitter hop bite .... definitely has a nice biscuity character to it .... mouthfeel is dry and sweet .... nice balance of body and spice .... finishes bittersweet and spicy .... solid pumpkin brew def better than your average one

Bottle. Pours hazy reddish brown with a small off white head. The aroma has clove, cinnamon, pumpkin puree. The taste is light pumpkin pie, some spices, sweetness on the finish.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Sparrow, 10/13/13

Aroma: The nose is full of pumpkin pie spice, dough, cinnamon, clove, yeast, and a little caramel
Appearance: It pours a clear reddish-orange color with a small beige head and minimal lace
Flavor: It is not quite as good as the nose, full of pumpkin and spice flavors, and yeast notes
Palate: This one has a nice mouthfeel, soft carbonation, and smooth, slightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a more than solid Pumpkin beer. Clearly this one is on the top side of what they make in my opinion, but maybe that is only because I really like the style. Still, hard to complain about the quality here.

Not my favorite. Aroma is weak. Taste is ok but a little strange. Hazy brown. Soft finish.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4547) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky brown color with a small foamy dark tan head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet nutmeg, clove and cinnamon. The flavor was bitter with a bit of vinegar, moderate notes of nutmeg, clove and cinnamon and was lacing a malt base to subdue the spice. Medium dry spice finish. Undercarbonated, Disappointing.
